The immune system is not an organ; it is a complex process working with many systems in the body. We will discuss immunity in a broad context, and learn general approaches, preparations, and formulas that stimulate, modulate, suppress, and tone the immune system for optimal winter health.

Herbalism 101: Intro to Medicinal Mushrooms

In herbalism, we work with the kingdom of fungi alongside medicinal plants to aid in becoming our healthiest selves.
In this class, we will discuss what traditional wisdom and modern science have taught us about the health benefits of different medicinal mushrooms such as Reishi, Maitake, Turkey Tail, Cordyceps, Chaga, and Lion's Mane. We will learn how to incorporate them into our daily lives for general health, as well as how to cope with many kinds of health issues including Lyme, Autoimmune, Diabetes, Adrenal Fatigue, and even Jetlag.
